Get to know the guy behind the design:

Jason Michael Scott is a professional and passionate designer, and he takes pride in delivering that passion into every project within his practice…

He received his degree in Interior Design from the acclaimed Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles in 1996. He attended FIDM on a full scholarship after coming in first place out of over 1,000 applicants by competing in their annual international design competition.

For the past 18 years, he has been involved in planning and designing interior settings for over 450 model home and private residences. He has operated as a design professional and thrived in fast paced design firms, managing multiple design projects from concept to completion. Those experiences gave him the opportunity to work with numerous styles and budgets, which led to many successful, award-winning projects.

It was always his dream to eventually open up his own Home Furnishings Store and continue to work on design projects as well. So, with his friends and family’s support and encouragement he decided to take a leap of faith, and in July of 2013 he opened J. Michael Scott Interiors.
